DIALux Mobile allows lighting design with a tablet or smartphone

The app for light planning, developed by DIAL, is now available for download.

With DIALux Mobile, the company DIAL has launched the first app for light planning on the market with which the user can plan light in the interior directly on site on a smartphone or tablet with real products.

The app for iOS and Android devices is free of charge and now available for download on the App Store and Google Play Store.

The planner can create a room and define a lighting system with just a few clicks. The user then immediately receives a result on the number and positions of luminaires required to meet the standard requirements of lighting in a room.

Planning with DIALux Mobile takes place in three steps.

Step 1 - Create a new project:

Determine room dimensions and select the target values for the lighting in the user profiles or enter them yourself. The planner can also easily add general parameters, such as reflectance and the maintenance factor of the room.

Step 2 - Select luminaires:

Select the right luminaire from an online database of over 250,000 products from leading manufacturers. A convenient search function is available for selecting luminaires.

Step 3 - Result:

As a result, the user receives the floor plan of the planned room with planned luminaires and the approximate calculation results for the illuminance and energy consumption achieved.

DIALux Mobile is available for iOS and Android devices and can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play Store. The app is free of charge.
